Note: Took up nursing during the Great War. Never married. [Copy of Will] WILL THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me ANN ELIZABETH LAWFORD WOOD of Brocklands Nursing Home Yeadon near the City of Leeds Spinster 1. I APPOINT my nephews Kenneth Wainman Wood of "The Bungalow" Giggleswick in the County of York Schoolmaster and Charles Brearley Wood of "Hollingside" Calverley Lane Horsforth Leeds aforesaid Accountant to be the executors of this my Will 2. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH free of all duties to each of them my said nephews Kenneth Wainman Wood and Charles Brearley Wood who accepts the office of executor the sum of twenty pounds absolutely 3. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH free of all duties to my said nephew Charles Brearley Wood my oak tea-trolley absolutely 4. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH free of all duties to my said nephew Kenneth Wainman Wood my chiming clock absolutely 5. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all of my real estate and the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever as to two thirds thereof unto my said nephew Kenneth Wainman Wood absolutely and as to the remaining one third thereof unto my said nephew Charles Brearley Wood absolutely 6. I REVOKE all former Wills Codicils and Testamentary writings heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testatment IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of December one thousand nine hundred and fifty eight SIGNED by the said Testatrix Ann Elizabeth Lawford Wood as and for her last Will and Testatment in the presence of us both being present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses:- A.W.
