Note: Mr. Morton died at his home in Star NC. Funeral service 3-26-2008 4 pm Wednesday at Big Oak Church of God with Rev. Earl Ward and Rev. Billy Ray Chriscoe officiating. Burial-Church Cemetery. He is survived by his son Garrett Morton of the home-daughter Olissa Morton of the home-father Robert Morton of Troy NC-mother Ruby Mauldin of Troy NC-sisters Sandy Mauldin-Lynn Mauldin-Amy Mauldin all of Troy-half-sister Renee Morton of Lexington NC-half-brother Chris Morton of Star NC-stepfather Danny Carrick of Star NC-grandmother Shirley Carrick of Star and mother of the children Olivia Gatlin of the home. Phillips Funeral Home 216 S Main St. Star NC is in charge of arrangements.
