Notes
a. Note:   oad below Star and the Big School or Star Academy under Capt. Siler's direction. She and her family attended the old Star Methodist Church and when typhoid claimed her father in 1908 she took public jobs as a farm hand helping sick families to aid the family income. Her mother was a well-known midwife often called "The Borning Woman" but also provided meals for the railroad employees. It was through this income supplement that she met her future husband when he came to board at the Williamson home. Both Anderson and Florence were plain simple people who sought very little in material possessions and yet were good managers and fine citizens content with what they owned and with the family they reared. She was a Children's Sunday School teacher for many years in Star Methodist Church which they both attended but she never joined community groups seeming to enjoy her quilting or sewing groups and her practical nursing volunteer hours set her apart as one who dedicated much of herself to others. Her ability to grow and share flowers was known in every town in which they lived.
Note:   Florence Williamson was educated at Holly Springs on the Little River R
