Burke, husband of the late Mary A. Conley, died at his home, No. 8 Glenwood Ave., Monday evening, July 12, 1937. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward Gardner, Mrs. Clarence Gaygen, Mrs Irene Manning of Lockport, two brothers, four sisters, Mrs. William Sandusky, Lockport, Mrs. Burt Thirkettle, Buffalo, Mrs. Eliza Hubbard, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. George Thomas, Ridgewood, N.J., Thomas Burke, Gatineau, Quebec, Martin Burke of Marion, Ohio, also six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from his late home Thursday morning, July 15, at 8:30 and 9 o'clock from St. Patrick's Church, Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Funeral services for John C. Burke were held from his late home No. 8 Glenwood Ave, Thursday morning, July 15th, at 8:30 and from St. Patrick's Church at 9 o'clock. Rev. Christopher Roche officiating. The bearers were: William Burke, Dr. M. Hoenig, Edward Hoenig, Walter and Richard Conley, Carleton H. Poole.
