a. Note:   Obituary Notice Lockport, New York Newspaper 1937 Burial rites for Thomas E. Burke, 58 who died in Gatineau, Ont. Dec. 8, we re conducted in Corinth, N.Y. on Dec. 13 according to information receiv ed by Mr. Burke's sister, Mrs William Sandusky of 122 Chestnut St. Mr. Bur ke, a former Lockport resident, died in an Ottwa hospital, after an illne ss of two weeks. He had been in ill health for two years but little anxie ty was felt unto two weeks before his death. A heart ailment was the imme diate cause of death. Born in Lockport, Mr. Burke was the son of Mr. & Mr s. William T. Burke. He was educated in Lockport schools and learned t he paper making trade. He was employed by the International Paper Compa ny in Niagara Falls, Corinth, Three Rivers, Que, and Gatineau. He was sup erintendent of the Gatineau mill at the time of his death. He is surviv ed by one son, William Thomas, and one daughter Mrs. Kenneth Murdie, bo th of Gatineau; four sisters, Mrs. Sandusky of Lockport, Mrs. Bert Thirket tle, Buffalo, Mrs. Daisy Hubbard, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. George Thomas, Rid gewood, N.J. and one brother, Martin Burke of Marion, Ohio 1910 U S Census - New York - Saratoga - Corinth - District 101 - Image 27 Burke, Thomas E.BoarderW M 34 Single 1920 U S Census - New York - Saratoga - Corinth - Ed 105 - Image 37 Burke, Thomas EHead W M 42 CatharineWife W F 31 C.
