William Reed was kicked by a horse and died shortlythereafter, he was 26 yrs old. William Reed and ArthemicialDeethie Winnett had two children, Rossy and Florence. Rossydied as a child and Florence married Homer Nunamaker, moving tothe Bellingham, Washington, where Homer was elected to the StateHouse of Representatives and also being elected to the StateSenate. They are both buried in Bellingham, Washington.Artemicial Deethie then married Thomas Randall Grisson, theyhaving seven children, Artemicial and Thomas living their entirelives in Cumberland County and Casey, Illinois, which bordersCumberland County. From Marriage Records: Thomas R. Grisson,son of Nelson Grissom and Susan Parks, and Artemicial DeethieWinnett, daughter of Nathan Winnett, and Sarah McMechan weremarried on October 20, l891, at the home of W.E.Adams.
