Note: he attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1869 an Long Island College Hospital in 1870 an practiced medicine in Pittsburgh from 1870-1878 then moved to Western Nebraska due to health an spent 1879-84 on a ranch he went to ST.Louis Medical School in 1884 for a refresher course an practiced in Lincoln, Nebraska 1884. after being on City Council he became Mayor of Lincoln in 1899 served 2 terms. it was said he was elected because of his ability to clean up fronyier town. later he was on the State Railway Commission for 6yrs. There was no children to this marriage
