Note: Isaac Rhode's uncle, Jonathan Rhode, wife and married children were at Lead Hill, Boone Co., Arkansas from 1839-1843. Several of Jonathan's grandchildren were born there, and his wife, Mary Harriet, died there and is buried on the farm grounds. In 1860, Isaac Rhode, then a widower, was living in Milford Twp., Iroquois Co., Illinois with his cousins Alvin and Esther Armstrong Pearce. Brother John W. Rhode and his wife, Elizabeth Little Rhode, were close by.
