Notes
a. Note:   In 1948 Gene Billings meet his parents down in Boynton Beach., Florida after returning from the war. But his heart was still in Ohio where he grew up. So every so many weeks he was taking a trip to Ohio to visit family and friends and to spend those wild oats he had weld up inside. He was also drinking a lot which was bothering his mother a lot (to her a few drink could be a lot....). But as time went by he took notice of this young girl a few doors down, whose father had built his sister Veras' house. She was a very beautiful dark hair girl that was a little shy(and she didn't think much of him at first). But there was something about her he liked. He had his Mom and Dad introduce them and they started going out. Sometime after that he started working at Fla. Power and Light and Gene and Cathy where married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lake worth, Fla., June 8 1949. They lived with his parents until Linda was born and about nine months they found a house on 252 NE 15 th Street, Delray Bch., Fla., that they bought and lived in for around 40yrs. before moving to Williston, Florida in 1978. When they moved to Williston, Florida 4 of their childred moved up a short time later. Linda and Terry, Judy and Bill, then Susie and Vincent, who bought 40 acres for the 3 to split in thirds (13 each). Then Theresa and Leroy came up to live in the area. Donna and John where the only ones to stay in Boynton Bch., Florida.
