a. Note:   e of whom were baptised on the same date. At the time of the 1851 Census, he was an Agricultural Worker with 7 children. Two daughters were Silk Factory Girls. A son named Anthony, b. 1844 who is said to have emigrated to America, and settled in Napa Valley. At the time of the 1871 census he was living with his son Edwin & family, when he is described as a widower. He died aged 78.
