Notes
a. Note:   g with his brother James and wife Susan and daughter Rebecca. In 1861 he was a Ribbon Weaver in England. He later emigrated. In the 1910 Federal Census of America he declared that he immigrated to America in 1863 *. After the birth of William or Sarah, he migrated to Canada, possibly via Massachusetts. In the 1871 and 1881 Census of Canada he was residing at Prince Edward Island. He returned to America with his family at some date between 1881 and 1900 - viz. his son John E.'s declaration of his year of immigration to the US as 1892 in the 1910 census. His daughter Sarah declared her first child as born in 1893 in Missouri, where Timothy settled. Timothy is not recorded in the 1891 Canadian census. He was a Taxidermist.
It seems likely that their married daughter Sarah Farrington migrated to America with them - viz. census records of her family 1900 to 1930.
NB. One of his 10 children is untraced at present. The birth places and dates of his other children have not been fully resolved (Apr 2009). See their individual notes for details.
*the date of immigration to the US is given differently in other census - e.g. In the 1900 Federal US Census as 1876, (except Carrie, recorded as 1880).
Correspondence from Cecelia M. Setty nee Elkington in 2009 -
"Timothy died 27 Apr 1922 at Mt. Washington, Blue Township, Jackson County, Missouri according to my copy of his death certificate."
Note:   The father's name in unreadable in his marriage record. In 1851 he was a Ribbon Weaver lodgin
