 "I am sending a recorded copy of his discharge from the Army in 1919. (Motor Transportation Corps, both wars.) I remember when he came home from WW2. And a newspaper article stating that "died in the Letterman Hospital...Letterman Hospital was at the Presidio of San Francisco. It was a military hospital .... William's records along with many more were destroyed in a fire at St. Louis, Missouri Military Records collection center."
Note:   He served in WW 1. At the time of the 1930 census he was residing in Napa, aged 47 retired. H
