Notes
a. Note:   Alabama - US Navy WWII
Was a hunter & a fisherman. Also did a little bootlegging. He was known as the best shot with a rifle. He would get "stone skunk drunk" and shoot ciggaretts out of some guys mouth. He shot a dime at 30-40 yards. He always precisioned his rifle and filed his sights.
Was one of the meanest men in the family.
One night he picked up a pitchfork or a shovel and hit a guy he was fighting with as he came around the corner of the bar. He laid him out. (told to Evelyn White Robertson by her father Donald D. White.)
