Text: A lifelong Kankakee resident, William F. Noe, 45, of 145 Birch St., died in St. Mary's Hospital today after a one-week illness.
He had worked for the Kankakee Park District as a mechanic for 14 years. Born here Oct. 25, 1914, he was married to the former Mary McPhail in Kankakee, March 3, 1944.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Wayne at home; daughters, Alice, Carol and Dianne at home; brothers, John and George of Kankakee; and sisters, Mrs. Harvey Coyer and Mrs. Frank Rogganbuck of Kankakee and Mrs. Garlin Shore of Casey.
Services will be held in Phillips, Friday and Schreffler Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Glen Sims will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening and until the time of services.
