Text: Visitation for Mary Elizabeth Noe, 86, of Kankakee, will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
Burial will be in Ashkum Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. She died Thursday (Jan. 18, 2007) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital.
Mrs. Noe had worked in housekeeping at Provena St. Mary's Hospital, retiring in 1986 after 17 years of service. She was born April 16, 1920, in Timewell, the daughter of Charles Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Ham McPhail. She was a member of the Christian faith. She enjoyed helping people and enjoyed helping in the kitchen in the senior highrise in Kankakee.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Mickey E. and Kay Noe of Kankakee; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol and Frank Newman of Kankakee, Diane Schultz of Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
