Notes
a. Note:   , Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Another source gives her birthdate as 29 September 1748 in Rockingham County, Virginia (which wasn't formed until 1 March 1778). A third source says that she was born in 1750 in Greenbrier County, Virginia (which wasn't formed from Botetourt and Mountgomery counties, Virginia, until 1 March 1778). In addition, in the records of Augusta County, Virginia, exist two conflicting citations as to her being orphaned: 20 August 1760, an "orphan to be bound out" extract taken from Order Book No. 6, p. 393; and, 19 November 1760, an "orphan, bound to Daniel Price" extract from the Augusta Parish Vestry Book, p. 303. If one uses her birthdate as occuring in 1740, she would have been 20 years old at the time of these entries. It is doubtful that she would have been of the age to be an orphan. The second aforementioned birthdate of 1784 would have made her the age of 12 at the time of the orphan entries and is more probable that it occurred.. Regardless, the places are fairly close but the dates need more research.
Note:   One source found states that she was born on 29 October 1740 in Swatera
