a. Note:   Earl owned a taxi and bus company that also carried the US mail in the community. It first provided service between Dolgeville and Little Falls. This was later extended to St. Johnstown, NY. This continued until the garage and equipment were destroyed by fire in 1924. Later the family moved to St. Johnstown and Gloversville, NY where Earl died.
