He states that he was born in New York State and that he was age 39 on Aug 13, 1850 when the census was taken. His wife is listed as 4 years older that he. She was born in Mass. Several Beal families lived in very close proximity, probably brothers of one older female, Clarissa, age 75 is living with youngest son, a cooper. Clarissa was born in Conn. according to the 1850 census. p. 034 Palermo, Oswego, New York.
