Note: Elijah Snell born 1808; 20 September 1832 Elizah Snell and Miss Sarah F. Depug of Oppenheim were married by John Vedder, Esq. (Mohawk Courier 27 Sept 1832). A scrap of paper in the reunion files of Snell Zimmerman-Timmerman states Elijah and Sarah Snell both died in 1842 leaving three children: Martha was brought up by her aunt Jennette who married Wyant Leeper; Lorenzo Dow Snell 1835 - 1895, a civil War soldier (Co. C. 153rd New York Volunteers); and, ?
