 The story I was told about Grandpa Yates death was that he drank heavily every night after work. Someome at the bar would put him on a streetcar at closing time and the conductor knew which stop to let him off at. One night there was a substiute conductor who didn't know Grndpa . He put Grandpa off at the end of the line. Grandpa didn't know where he was so he just laid down and went to sleep on tracks. After the streetcar turned around, it ran over & killed him.
