Feirer, 75, a prominent Barnegat Bay yachtsman, died yesterday at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, Burlington, Vt. Mr. Feirer was born in West Hoboken, a section of Union City, and came to Beachwood in 1937. He was a budget analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration, Galloway Township, for 15 years before retiring in 1976. Prior to that, he worked at the Lakehurst Naval Air Facility for 15 years. Mr. Feirer was a graduate of the University of Alabama, Class of 1937. He was a past Commodore of the Beachwood Yacht Club, and had been treasurer of Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association for the last 20 years. Mr. Feirer was also a Beachwood Yacht Club delegate to the racing association. "He was very active in sailing..as far as his contribution to sailing in the area, it has been tremendous," said Robert Klump, commodore of the Beachwood Yacht Club. He was also a scoutmaster with Troop 14, Beachwood, and an exempt fireman of the Beachwood Volunteer Fire Company. By a previous marriage, he was the husband of Dorothy L. Withington, who died in 1983. He has since remarried. He is survived by his wife, June Withington; a son, Ward E.W.,Nyack,NY; a sister, Helen Bernhard, Hasbrouck Heights, and a granddaughter. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements. June Withington was born 19 Jan 1918. She was the wife of Dorothy's brother who died three weeks after Dorothy. Edward died on his honeymoon, in Burlington, Vermont, two weeks after marrying June.
