Note: Father - Wendeline Bernhard Mother - Elizabeth Klein Baptized by Edwin Dingman Sponsors - Gottlob Klein and Pauline Klein (Gottlob Klein owned Klein's bakery where Katherine Hofmann worked) Wennie started working at age 15 as a runner on Wall Street, NY. Raymond remembers watching the Lindbergh parade from Wennie's office on Broadway in 1927. During depression he was out of work for several years(late 1930s and early 1940s) after the firm he was working for was dissolved and everyone was let go. Did a number of jobs to keep his family going. One of the jobs was working as a salesman for George Fangman & Son selling coal and heating oil. About 1941 returned to Wall Street to work for Georgeson and Company where he worked until retirement in 1971. Treated his car fastidiously. Car was always parked inside,in front of plumbing shop. Everytime he took it out he would always wipe it off.
