Note: !DEATH: Records of Evergreen Cemetery, Elizabeth, New Jersey. Lived in Roselle Park, NJ. Lived at 203 Chestnut St, one block from the railroad station near the fire house. Had a corner house with a large back yard. Driveway was at the back of the property and entered from the side street. There was a vine covered trellis from the driveway to the back of the house and a very beautiful flower garden with pear trees and a small fish pond. Visitors always entered by the rear stairway. She lived on the second floor. You always visited in her big kitchen. She was an excellent quilt maker. The ladies of her church would always come over to help make the quilts. Towards the end of her life, moved to 511 22nd Street with Katherine but kept house in Roselle Park. A very nice person and baked great cakes. According to Raymond she was a "fabulous woman" She had stature, an aristocratic style, a presence. She was good hearted; kind hearted; generous. She was a homebody. Her garden was showplace; people would come just to admire it.
