Dennis' occupation is storekeeper. Value of real estate is $3000 and personal property is $1000. Also living with them is Betsey Cummings, age 15, born NY. 1870 MN Federal Census: Dennis Sharon, age 51, born NY, is living in Austin Township MN with his wife Melissa, age 28, born NY. Eugene, age 17, born NY, Carl age 8, born WI, Aeoleon age 13, born WI, Ally age 6, born WI, Freddy age 1, born WI and Nellie age 1, born WI are in the household. It is my opinion that on this census Carl and Aeoleon are mixed up, Carl's age should be 13 and Aeoleon's age should be 8 as 15 Dec 1862 is given as "Ole's" birth date in his obituary. In the 1880 census Carl (Sharon) Sharun is listed as being born in 1861 in WI, and in 1880 he is living in Lyle, Mower Co, MN. 1880 WI US Federal Census: Melissa is married to Clark Monroe, living in Clark Co, with her two daughters, Ally and Nellie. Ally is married to Clark Monroe's son, Argalus. Melissa Sharon is in the Wausau land office records, 11/15/1873.
