a. Note:   Maggie's obituary: "On Wednesday, March 24, death for the second time within the year entered the home of W. Strahl, taking from them the wife any mother leaving a husband and three sons, Howard, Percy and Raymond, and a daughter Florence to mourn the loss. The deceased was born in Minnesota about 40 years ago and her life was spent within the state. She leaves beside the immediate family, four sisters, Mrs. J. Brown, Mrs. Wm. Wynn and Mrs. Sharon of Parkertown and Mrs E. Boyce of Little Falls and three brothers, John Gish of Grey Eagle, S. Gish of Onamia and Geo. Gish of Parkertown, also her father, J. W. Gish of Parkertown. Funeral services were held here Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, interment taking place in the Randall cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the community in their great sorrow and loss." Also regarding Maggie Strahl's death: "Mrs. Maggie Gish Strahl of Randall died Wednesday at the age of 39 years, death being due to pulmonary consumption from which the deceased had suffered for the past three years. She is survived by a husband and four children."
