In the 1880 MN Federal Census Carl (Sharun) is a boarder, age 19, living in Lyle, Mower Co, MN. 1895 Iowa State Census: Carl Sharon, age 33, born WI, wife Amy, age 27, born Allamakee Co, IA, Alice, age 9, born MN, Bert, age 7, born MN and George, age 2, born IA. Carl is not listed in the WI Federal Census of 1860 . There is a mistake in the 1870 census as Aeoleon's age and Carl's age is reversed. Aeoleon's (Ole) was born in 1862 according to his obituary and other census reports. A descendant of Carl's said that he was killed in a RR accident.
