Note:   [Sanders Family.FTW] According to Glen Minor's transcription of cemeteries, in the Sanders Family Cemetery in Cottonwood, there is buried a Jess Harper, born in 1802, died in 1889, and his wife Marie born 1802, died 1877. There is also an Elizabeth 1835-1836 who is listed as Jess and Marie's daughter. They must be family members of Elizabeth Harper but who? They are of the right age to be her parents but why would they have a 2nd daughter and name her Elizabeth? And if they were her parents, then we have a lot of misinformation here. 1900 Asbury, Gallatin County, Illinois shows Elizabeth living with son, George Sanders. 1880 Census New Haven, Gallatin County, Illinois shows Elizabeth at age 52. It shows her parents being born in Tennessee (father) and South Carolina (mother).
