Note: Josephine Conway CHARLES CITY _ Josephine Conway, 97, a resident of Cedar Terrace No., died Thursday (Aug. 28, 1997) at the Ninth St. Chautauqua Guest Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be at 3:15 p.m. in St. John_s Cemetery, Emmetsburg. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with a 7:30 p.m. Parish Vigil Scriptural wake service. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church on Saturday. Josephine Alice Wycoff Conway was born Jan. 15, 1900, in Kossuth County. Survivors include three daughters, Ellen Johnson, Estherville; Alice Koehler, Charles City, and Patricia Alcott, Belton, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, one son and one grandson. ========================== August 30, 1997
