The Vicksburg, Michigan Commercial, Thursday May 4, 1967 Mrs. Iva D. Hambly Services Held: Mrs. Iva D. Hambly, 633 So. Hamilton, Vicksburg, age 70, passed away at Franklin Community Hospital Monday morning, May 1, 1967. Mrs. Hambly was born April 21, 1897 in Stanton, Michigan the daughter of Gilbert and Ida Cole and had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 50 years. She was married to Ross Hambly, April 6, 1946, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons, Murman Gary of Kalamazoo, Forest Edward Gary, of Detroit, Russell Gary of Vicksburg and Clair Moyer of Vicksburg, a foster son, Clyde Leffingwell of Vicksburg, a step-son, Roger Horn of Kalamazoo, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Rupert-Durham Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 pm, Rev. David Martin of EUB church officiating. Interment at Vicksburg cemetery.
