Cole age 39, occupation farm laborer Ida May age 28 with 3 children: Luella May age 9, Edward R. B. age 5 and Delilah D. age 3. Also living with them is Allice D. Wallace age 49 (I think she was only visiting) The Vicksburg Commercial, Friday, 11-24-1939 Mrs. Alice Wallace, 89, Expires on Wednesday Mrs. Alice Delila Wallace, 89, for the past 35 years a resident of Vicksburg, died at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the family home here. She was born on September 3, 1850, in Bethel, Branch county, and at the age of 16 years joined the U.B. church of which she has been a continuous attendant and active member. Of thirteen children born to her, but seven survive. They are: Mrs. Ida Cole, of Kalamazoo; Floyd, of Coloma; Mrs. Ada Carr, Vicksburg; William of East Lansing, Dayton of Colon, Olin of Vicksburg, and Clyde of St. Paul, Minn. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Orpha Champion, of Tontonaga, O. Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday from the Ruper Funeral home, in charge of Rev. E.L. Marsh and burial will be given in the local cemetery.
