Children listed in that census: Elvira, age 7, William, age 2, and Charles, age, 3mos. 1875 - birth of Harry A., son of Andrew and Margaret Stratton 1879 - Nov. 11 - Jackson filed for a pension claiming chronic rheumetism caused from exposure to inclement weather at Carlisle, PA, on or about the 1st day of March 1866. In this petition he is described as age 48, 5'8", light complexion, dark hair, blue eyes. 1880 - June 12 - census - McNett Twp., Lycoming County, PA: Jackson Stratton, age 49, farmer, b. PA 1889-1890 - Elmira City Directory: Jackson Stratton - a lumberman living at 469 South Ave. with Charles living with him both years and Edwin G. living with him in 1889. 1890 - April 20 - marriage of Andrew and Estella G. Knapp - Estella G. Knapp was divorced from John A. Pool, October 26, 1881 per Bradford County Court, Towanda, PA. Her parents were Elisha Knapp and Philinda Guthrie. 1891 - Feb. 11 - death of Harry A., son of Andrew and Margaret Stratton 1892 - July 24 - death of Margaret J. Cross Stratton - death certificate: Margaret died from cancer at 469 South Ave., Elmira, 12th ward and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. She was born in PA and her parents were born in NY. 1900 - June 13 - census - 401 Baty St., Elmira City, Chemung Co., NY: Andrew J. Stratton, b. March 1831, married 1 year, he and parents b. PA, day laborer Stella, wife, b. February 1849, married 1 year, 2 children and 1 living, she and parents b. PA 1903 - Dec. 6 - Andrew J. died form heart disease, buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, Chemung County, NY. Estella was receiving widow's pension per Jackson's Civil War service. 1916 - Oct. 15 - unknown paper: Mrs. Estella G. Stratton, widow of Andrew Stratton, died Wednesday evening at the family home, 64 Franklin Street. Mrs. Stratton was sixty-seven years of age, and is survived by one son, Frederick E. Poole, of the United States Navy, three sisters, Mrs. Della E. Smith and Mrs. Esther Smith, of Elmira, and Mrs. Casper Rice, of Hornell; also by three brothers, Wilmot E., Knapp, ? P. Knapp, and Burt T. Knapp, all of this city, and one grandson, Fred E. Poole, of Newport, R.I. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her brother, W. E.
