Note: Emma hemorrhaged to death from a tubal pregnancy. The following account as told by descendants of Emma and Clayton: After the death of Emma, Clayton took the two girls and went to Iowa where the Barkers, his mother's family, had moved. Anderson Bunn was unhappy about his grandchildren being in Iowa and he went to Iowa and brought the children back to his home where they were raised. In the meantime, Clayton remarried Edith Wood in Iowa and had six children. He then moved to Chemung and Steuben Counties where three more children were born.
