Note: Ray was born in Ogdensburg, Union Township, Tioga County, PA, and died May 19, 1948 at the age of 71 in Rochester, NY. He was buried in the Ogdensburg Cemetery. In early 1911, he bought out the Fenner Stage route from Roaring Branch to Blossburg - Canton Independent-Sentinel. Ray was a son of George Stickler and Clara Stull. PA, state road laborer Anna B., wife, age 50, 1st married at age 18, she and parents b. PA Margaret, daughter, age 11 1953 - Nov. 12 - Thursday - Wellsboro Agitator: Ray C. Stickler, aged 83 years, of Roaring Branch, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 3, 1953. Survived by wife, Mrs. Nina Stickler; son, Byron of Milwaukee, Wis.: daughters, Miss Marcella Stickler, a teacher at Bloomsburg, Pa., and Mrs. Leslie Leonard of Roaring Branch: sister, Mrs. Effie Aldrich of Painted Post: four grandchildren: several nieces and nephews. Burial was in the Roaring Branch Cemetery.
