Note: Bevie must have graduated from High School because in the "Gazette-Register", Williamsport, PA, is a notice of the Second Annual Commencement of Ralston High School for Sat., April 14, 1900 and in the program under Essay is "Home - Its Duties and Influence", by Bevie Lorena Stratton. "Bevie" and Matthew were buried in St. Michaels Cemetery, Canton, Bradford County, PA. Funeral home records states she was born Januray 17, 1882. St. Michael's Church records state they were married September 12, 1916. Marriage license states January 6, 1915, Montoursville, Lycoming County, PA. 1930 - April 11 - census - Union Twp., house #104: Bevie S. King, age 47, widow, married at age 32 Joseph, son, age 13 John, son, age 12 Eloise, daughter, age 11 1955 - Dec. 15 - Thurs. - "The Canton Independent-Sentinel": Mrs. Belva L. King, aged 73, Ogdensburg, died suddenly at her home there. Mrs. King is survived by two sons, John King of Ogdensburg, and Joseph King of Tioga; a daughter, Miss Eloise King of Ogdensburg; several nieces and nephews. The body was at the Morse Funeral Home here where funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Lawrence Weniger of St. Michael's Catholic Church officiated and interment was in St. Michael's cemetery.
