 Leslie E. Johnson of 206 W. Maridian St., Indianapolis, IN; married, age 23, born June 25, 1893 in Ogdensburg; boiler maker foreman at Big Four RR in Indianapolis; tall and stout; brown eyes and hair, no baldness; claim was rejected by the Navy at Savannah, GA in 1912 - mashed foot, instep
  1978 - June 20 - Leslie died of a myocardial infarction and was buried in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Elmira, Chemung County, NY. There is no marker on grave. He died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira. He resided in Elmira was a widower with no known heirs, was a former gardener, left no will. The total amount from his savings account, sale of furniture and cash found in his apartment was turned over to the Dept of Social Services (public welfare dept)
