Note: Laura died at her home on Troy St., Canton, Bradford County, PA, and was buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery, Ogdensburg, Union Twp., Tioga County, PA. She was born in Arnot, Tioga County, PA. She was a waitress, living in Canton, when she and Walter were married. Laura was the operator of The Canton Grill and owner/operator of the former Cedar Ledge Tavern for 37 years. In 1947, she sold the Thomas Restaurant, Troy St., to Walter Zellar, game warden at Leroy, Bradford County, PA. Around 1966, she had her leg amputated due to sugar diabetes. The cause of death was listed as coronary occlusion, instant death.
