April 1870, age 30, married 0 years, he and parents b. PA, dairyman Martha, b. April 1866, age 34, married 0 years, mother of 0 children, b. PA, dad b. NY, mom b. PA 1910 - April 26 - census - High St., Troy Borough: Edward Johnson, age 40, married one time, married 10 years, driver - horse Martha I., age 46, married one time, married 10 years, dressmaker - home 1930 - Sept. 25 - Obituary in "Troy Gazette" - stated Martha died in the Arnot-Ogden Hospital, Elmira, following an operation. She and Edward had lived in Troy, PA, prior to moving to Elmira where they lived for many years. She was brought back to her former home on Canton St., Troy, for funeral services and was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. She was a member of the choir of Centenary M. E. Church, Elmira and of the choir at Disciple Church, Troy.
