PA, coal miner 1910 - May 8 - Blossburg Borough - North Williamson Road, Tioga Co., PA: George W. Bennett, age 38, married once, married 15 years Rose, wife, age 35, married once, married 15 years, mother of 1 with 1 living Ethel M., dau., age 11 1935 - death of Rose, buried in Church of Christ Cemetery, Ogdensburg 1955 - March 3 - Thurs. - The Agitator, Wellsboro: George Bennett of Blossburg died Saturday, February 19, 1955, in the Blossburg State Hospital. A native of Morris Run and a former resident of Ogdensburg, he was a retired miner. He attended the Blossburg Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Skea, with whom he resided, and a brother, Scott, of Middlesex, N.Y. Services were held Tuesday at the funeral home 18 Noth Main Street, Mansfield, with his pastor, the Rev. Norman West, officiating. Burial was in Ogdensburg Cemetery.
