June A. Pequignot, 80, formerly of Wellsboro, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro. Born July 10, 1922, in Middlebury Center, she was the daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Carpenter Monks. She was a member of the Wellsboro United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dixie Sheridan of Mansfield, four grandchildren, Amy Sheridan of Mansfield, Seth Sheridan of Franklin, Tenn., Chad Sheridan of Nashville, Tenn., Brooke Sheridan of Monterey, Calif., and two great grandchildren, Adam and Brennen Sheridan. Calling hours were held at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home, Mansfield on Friday, Sept. 20. Services were held following calling hours with the Rev. Howard Woodruff officiating.
