  1895 - Feb. 15 - Friday - "The Blossburg Advertiser": Miss Martha Brown of this place, and Mr. Nathan Bennett of Arnot, were married Wednesday Feb. 6th, by Rev. Fuller at Corning at the home of Frank Brown. The newly married couple will reside at this place. The bride is one of Blossburg's finest and best known young ladies and a host of friends extend their congratulations.

  1920 - Dec. 1 - Wed. - Wellsboro Agitator:
 Mrs. Martha Bennett died at her home in Blossburg, Nov. 16, after an illness of two weeks. She was born in Blossburg in 1878 and in February, 1894, was married to Nathan Bennett. To them six children were born, four of whom survive: Frank, of Elmira; Martha, Robert and Arthur, at home. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Martha Brown; one sister, Mrs. B. U. Sindlinger, of Blossburg; two brothers, Frank Brown, of St. Louis, and William Brown, of Williamsport. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. B. F. Croft, of the Baptist church, officiating; burial was in Arbon Cemetery.
  1922 Oct. 7 - On his marriage application at Tioga County Courthouse, Wellsboro, PA, Nathan stated he was a miner, born in Morris Run, living in Blossburg, age 49, Previous wife died 16 Nov 1920, his father, Richard, was born in England and his mother, Annette, was born in Ogdensburg. Nathan and Nettie were married by the Rev. Raymond J. Cornish. His bride, Nettie Greene Wing, stated she was born in Lycoming Co., living in Blossburg, age 51, previous husband died June 19, 1920. Her father was C. D. Greene, a mason, who was born in Penbryn, PA, and her mother was Josephine Andrus, who was born in Penbryn, PA.

  1932 - June 9 - Thursday - Obituary in "The Canton Sentinel": Nathan Bennett, formerly of Ogdensburg, died in the Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira on May 27, 1932 at the age of 59. He was a brother to Annette Bennett, whose death was reported several weeks ago. The funeral was held on May 21 from his home in Elmira and interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.
