 Frank Place, a resident of Blossburg for the past 28 years, died Sunday evening, Nov. 2. He was born in Towanda 62 years ago, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Place. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Jane Williams Place; son, Daniel, of West Chester, N.Y.; mother, two brothers, Jesse, of Towanda, Fred of Monroeton; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Chamberlain, Mrs. Flossie Lilodoll, and Mrs. Frank Baker, of Towanda. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the home; burial in Arbon cemetery.
  1944 - April 26 - Wed. - The Agitator, Wellsboro:
 Mrs. Mary Jane Place, widow of Frank Place, died Thursday, April 20, after a long illness. She was born 68 years ago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Williams. her entire life has been spent in Blossburg and vicinity. Surviving are a son, Daniel Place, of Chester; a sister, Mrs. Evan Williams, of Blossburg, and a nephew, Ira Williams, of Blossburg. Funeral services were held Sunday, Rev. Lester Kim, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church, officiating; burial in Arbon Cemetery at Blossburg.
