Neal family (their son) was listed just above them in this census* 1904 - Sept. 25 - Death record at Tioga County Courthouse, Wellsboro, PA , states William was born in Westmoreland County, PA. He was buried in Union Church Cemetery, Liberty Twp., Tioga County, PA. 1904 - Oct. - In William's will, Bk. J, page 84, # 4386, recorded 31 Oct 1904, exec., Freeman, Daniel, Murray, and Willey Neal; of Liberty Twp. - to sons Murray and Daniel, have old John Neal farm in Liberty Twp., for sum of $1500 to be paid to estate; to wife, Elizabeth, $2000; rest equally divided among sons, Murray, Daniel, Freeman; daughters, Emma Brion and Carrie Sheffer; grandchildren, Willey Neal and Carrie Brion. Inventory was filed in amount of $12533. 36. 1918 - Her will - Book. N, page 337, #6558, recorded 17 Oct 1918, Tioga County Court House, exec. Willaim Neal and Carrie M. Sheffer; of Mansfield, widow of William Neal, died 26 Sept 1918 in Williamsport. Value of personal property, $5000. To son William J., daughter Emma, wife of John F. Sheffer, sum of $1400 plus interest. 1926 - Aug. 26 - Thurs. - Wellsboro Gazette: Neal Family Reunion Held at Putnam Park The descendants of William Neal and Elizabeth Harer Neal met in a family get-together meeting at Putnam Park on Sunday, Aug. 22. A very enjoyable time was had by all present. There were 41 in attendance. After all had partaken of a very satisfactory dinner William J. Neal, of Mansfield called the group to order in an informal manner and it was decided to hold another such gathering next year on the last Wednesday in June, the place of meeting to be the old William Neal farm east of Liberty. Francis Neal, of Liberty was elected president and William J. Neal, secretary. The following were present: Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Neal and children, Francis , Edith and Dorothy; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Sheffer, of Jersey Shore; Mr . and Mrs. F. W. Neal, Mrs Albert Krise and children, Evelyn, Francis and Genevieve, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huffman, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Neal, Mr . and Mrs. Daniel Neal and sons, Clifford and Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Neal, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown and daughter, Ellen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Black and children, Lawrence, Robert Jr., Edith, Ernest and Emma, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Brion and daughters, Marie, Elsie, Irene and Anna and William J. Neal, of Mansfield.
