1924 - 18 Oct - Murray signed over 157 acres to Mary J. Cummings, trustee, of Wellsboro for $1.00. The 157 acres consisted of a lot from William Neal to Murray on 4 May 1901, a lot from Daniel Neal and wife to Murray on 29 July 1911, and 1/2 interest from Samuel Neal to William Neal on 19 Jul 1872 of 93 acres.

Murray Neal, of Liberty R.D.1, is a patient at the Blossburg Hospital, suffered a leg fracture, received when a cow he was milking toppled onto him Thursday.

1944 - Register Docket Z, page 173 - will of Mary E. Neal (written July 19, 1943), petition by Edith E. Neal of Wayne, Delaware Co., PA. - mother died at her residence in Liberty on April 1, 1944 at 6 a.m. - personal property of $200 - no real estate. Will - Mary E. Neal bequeaths all property to husband Murray J. Neal should he survive her. If not, Mary bequeaths refrigerator to daughter, Dorothy E. Neal of Blossburg; dining room suite to daughter, Edith E. Neal of Wayne; light oak bedroom suite to daughter, Edith; dark oak bedroom suite to daughter, Dorothy; table and bed linens equally to both daughters; all other property, real and personal , divided equally between son, Russell L. 1952 - Murray died at Broad Acres Nursing Home and was buried in Union Ce metery, Liberty Twp. He resided in Liberty Twp. and was a farmer.
