  1912 - June 7 - Charlotte was listed as Lottie Hare living in Williamsport as one of the next of kin in petition to Surrogate's Court of Steuben Co., NY, made by her brother Samuel to probate their sister's (Mary Ann Rouse) will.

 Mrs. Charlotte Harer, aged 74 years, residing at 1007 Almond street, died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Thomas, in Muncy, a t 2 o'clock yesterday morning. She is survived by 7 children: Mrs. J. C . Thomas, of Muncy; Mrs. W. O. Curts, of Jersey Shore; Mrs. W. Swartz, of Elmira; Mrs. Joseph Roupp, of East Point; J. C. Harer, of Corning; Mrs . J. B. Heether, of this city, and Harriet Harer, at home. The remains were brought to this city yesterday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later
 Sat. edition - December 28 - The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte Harer will take place at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the family residence, 1008 Almond street.
