  1949 - May 5 - "Canton Sentinel", May 5, 1949:
 Albert C. Krise and Mrs. Jennie C. Huffman, Cayuga, NY, were married at the home of Mrs. E. W. Herringotn, daughter of Mrs. Krise at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 1949. Rev. William Woodman, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, performed the marriage ceremony. The attendants were Mrs. E. W. Herrington, and the son, Francis Krise. The bride wore a navy blue dress with navy accessories and a corsage of red roses. The matron of honor wore a navy taffeta dress with red accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. A buffet luncheon was served to 24 guest from Williamsport, Horseheads, Cayuga, LeRoy, and Canton.
  Obituary in "The Canton Independent-Sentinel":
 Mrs. Jennie C. Krise, 77, widow of Albert C. Krise, passed away at her home in Cayuta, RD1, NY, on Monday, November 25.
 She is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Herrington of Canton, and Mrs. Clarence (Genevieve) Preston of Williamsport; a step-son, Francis Krise of RD1 Canton; a brother, Warren Neal of Cayuta, RD1, N Y; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ralph T. Kleese funeral Home on center St., Canton, on Friday, Nov. 29, at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Norman Jerome, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Horseheads. Interment will be in the North Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thurs., 2:0 0-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Oliver Schmelzle, Clifford Neal, Harry Neal, Miles Neal, and Maynard Schmelzle.
