Sept. 22, 1895 in Nauvoo, PA; medium height and build; dark blue eyes and dark brown hair; farmer and sub mail carrier; wife and one child 1972 - Feb. 14 - Mon. - Sun-Gazette - Williamsport: Fred. L. Brown, 76, of 677 Heller Avenue, died at 2 p.m. Sat, Feb. 12, 1972, in the Williamsport Hospital, where he had been a medical patient for four weeks. Mr. Brown was born Sept. 22, 1895, at Nauvoo, Tioga County, a son of Clayton and Dora Weaver Brown. He resided in Liberty before moving to this city in 1952. Before moving here, Mr. Brown was a truck driver for Braumbeck Trucking Co. and the Brion & Goodall trucking Co., both of Liberty. After moving here, he was employed by Cobbler's Inc. He attended the Lutheran Church at Liberty. Surviving are his wife, the former Carrie M. Neal; two daughters, Mrs. Arlene E. Davis, city, and Mrs. William J. Kile, of Montoursville; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mona I. Yourko, of Carlisle; two brothers, Clarence and Henry Brown, both of Liberty; a sister, Mrs. John Burger, of Lakeland, Fla., and six grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Maneval's, 500 West Fourth Street, with the Rev. Lyle S. Bundy, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Liberty. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
