a. Note:   1896 - Dec. 25 - Friday - "Blossburg Advertiser", states Amos Jacquemin, a student in Bucknell University at Lewisburg, Pa, is home for the holidays and in the Friday, March 12, 1897 edition, states that Amos Jacquemin, a student at the Lewisburg Seminary will preach at the Welch Church on the evenings of March 28 and April 4. In later editions, there are reports of Amos traveling around the country delivering speeches and selling pamphlets to pay his college expenses. The June 6, 1900 edition, he and his mother of Potter Brook were calling on friends in Blossburg and in the August 4, 1900 edition, Amos expects to remove from Potter Brook to Hedgesville, N. Y. Then in a June 1901 edition, "Rev. Amos Jacquemin, of Jasper, N. Y. visited relatives in Blossburg for the past week and took part in the memorial exercises on May 30th, Rev. Jacquemin is stationed at Jasper and ministers also at Hedgesville, six miles from Jasper. He has a fine congregation in each place. Rev. Jacquemin is one of our bright young men, who has gone out from Blossburg to make his mark. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Union County, Penna.

County General Hospital; length of stay - 9 minutes; cause of death - acute cardiac decompensation due to coronary thrombosis, duration of 24 hours; buried Aug. 3 in Forest Lawn Cemetery; resident of Los Angeles and CA for 20 years; last residence - 537 West 49th Place; occupation - physician & surgeon; age 69 years, 0 months and 10 days, born July 21, 1874 in Blossburg, PA, to Calestine Jacquemin who was born in Belfort, France and Matilda Neal, birthplace unknown; name of spouse - Mary Jacquemin, age 43.
