Death of George A. L. Bowes; On Tuesday, January 29, at the residence of his sister, Mrs. C. S. Jacquemin in this boro, occurred the death of George Asbury Lawrence Bowes. The deceased was born in Halifax, Dauphin county, Pa., Nov. 15, 1859 and was the son of Dr. John A. Bowes and his wife Margaret Mariah, (deceased) of Lewisburg, Pa. He leaves a wife Mary V. Bowes, of Williamsport. The body was taken to Selinsgrove for burial.
