  1983 - "Corning Leader" Pearl E. Clark, South Corning....Graveside services will be held Monday for Pearl E. Clark, 93, formerly of Spring Terrace, South Corning. She died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1983, at her home, 507 Crocus Road, Venice, Fla. She was born in Seymour, Iowa on Dec. 13, 1889, the daughter of Lafayette and Mary Emma Shaw Neal. She married Lewis M. Clark in 1912. He died March 7, 1967. She was employed for a time by Corning Glass Works and was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of Corning. Surviving are three sons, Wellman Clark of Venice, Fla., Willis Clark of South Corning, and Robert Clark of Lakewood, Cal., three daughters Mrs. John (Marjorie) O'Shanick of Venice, Fla., Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Shea of South Corning, and Mrs. Charles (Charlotte) Koepf of Bethesday, MD. Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Coopers Plains Cem., the Rev. Warren Covell officiating. Local arrangements are being made by Phillips Funeral Home, Corning.
