Virginia R. Shea, age 87, of Painted Post died Friday, April 25, 2008 at Absolut Care at Three Rivers in Painted Post. Virginia was born in Corning, NY on June 13, 1920, to Lewis and Pearl (Neal) Clark. Virginia was a graduate of Northside High School and then worked for Corning Glass Works. She was engaged to Robert Shea before he went to U.S. Army service in North Africa and Italy in World War11. They were married upon his return at St. Mary's Church on February 4, 1946, and was preceded in death by him in 1981. She had been a loving housewife. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning.
